These are the updates from December 21th:
United Kingdom
- A new and highly contagious variant of the corona virus has recently emerged in the United Kingdom. As you have probably read in the media, rail, air and boat traffic to the UK is no longer possible as of today. This has made it impossible in practice to deliver parcels in the United Kingdom. Parcels that are already on their way and have not yet arrived in the United Kingdom will therefore be returned to sender. The parcels shipped last Friday, December 18, did arrive in the United Kingdom. Shipments that are delivered from today will also be returned to sender until further notice.
- Due to this event, all services from DPD to the United Kingdom are no longer available until further notice.
- And no parcels can be sent to Ireland. These shipments go through the United Kingdom. Also, all services from DPD to Ireland are no longer available until further notice.
Of course we will keep you informed of all developments and when you can send parcels to the United Kingdom again.
