Le Chatelard 1802 Soaps
All soaps are handmade in Le Chatelard’s workshops in St Auban sur Ouvèze, Provence (France). Because of its formula at neutral pH, which does not dry the skin, our soaps provide an intense source of hydration and softness. Delicately perfumed with flowers, fruit and other natural ingredients, they offer a rich lather that nourishes, moisturizes and perfumes the skin.

Lavender (lavandula officinalis or lavandula angustifolia or vera)
Lavender can grow at up to 1700 meters altitude. You can find it as a wild plant and also in cultivated fields. In fact, among all essential oils, lavender is the one that offers the most numerous applications.
Lavandin (lavandula intermedia)
Lavandin is hybrid between lavandula vera and aspic lavender. Its larger flowers are exceedingly more productive and its essential oil is mainly used for industrial purposes (washing powder industry, etc…). For traditional purposes (sachets, etc…), lavandin flowers are mostly used instead of lavender, for its penetrating camphor scent.
